Re: Drunk email writing
Fri, January 16, 2004 - 3:11 PMWell, I have never drunk emailed... but I think it's safe to say drunk recordings are worse. Everytime I record another drunk conversation or song, at the time I feel it's genius, but I'm always let down the next day when they are consistently inscrutable. The best drunk recording at my house was "Frank Sinatra Sing Along." I give that one a listen once in a while...
But drunk video recordings on the other hand are a different beast altogether. Observe my friend in action! --> www.khobalt.com/video/champ.mpg (Make note: there was no music playing at the time of this ritual dance.) -

Re: Drunk email writing
Fri, January 16, 2004 - 3:24 PMHmmmm . . .I've done drunk livejournal updates. Then I go back the next day because I want to record what a fun night I had only to see jibberish with tons of typos on my screen and my friends calling me a drunk in the comment section.
I also have drunk videos of friends or even just regular pictures that I use for nefarious purposes.

Re: Drunk email writing
Fri, January 16, 2004 - 5:01 PMI think the real problem with drunk email is the depression
factor.. I know a lot of people who tend to get depressed
when they're drinking and put into the situation where they
can correspond in solitude.. I"ve got a folder full of "the world is against me" "oh I wish you had never dumped me" emails from friends/ex girlfriends..
Hmm. Maybe it's not a problem. Nothing amusing can really
be a problem, can it?

Re: Drunk email writing
Wed, February 4, 2004 - 8:14 PMI've done some of the most embarrassing drunk email writing, not only bad drunk emails, but bad drunk breakup emails, filled with tons of typos, imaginary words, and jumps of topic and logic that were completely beyond following.
Now,if I write one, I don't send, but wait untit the next day, read it again, and then decide. -

Re: Drunk email writing
Wed, March 24, 2004 - 2:16 PMOooh, I'm super bad about drunk emailing. I once thought of it as a safer alternative to calling people up at all hours of the night slurring into the phone, because even when drunk, my writing is fairly coherent. The bad part is though that I tend to sound like a horny stalker, and unlike a drunk call, they have no clue as to my state and just assume I've lost my mind. And for some reason I always feel compelled to email the people I know the least when I'm drunk instead of someone who'll just say "ah, she's just drunk again"
